Detroit MI, Vacant School Fire 6-2-2022
16161 Winston. Engine's 54, 55, and 57 Stretched on a Vacant Elementary School. Aerial devices from Ladder 25 and Ladder 26 were placed into service. Crews attempted to make entry to the structure but backed out due to heavy fire load. A defensive posture was taken. Engine 53 relayed to Ladder 25 and Engine 54 relayed to Ladder 26 for water supply. Chief 4 requested a 2nd Alarm but later canceled 2nd Alarm units. Chief 4 Held Command.
